久しぶりにLeft Eyeを調べていたら、彼女が亡くなる前の30日間のドキュメンタリーを見つけて観ました。その中でこの曲の事を語っていたのでもちろん翻訳！！！それにしてもLeft Eyeのラップの部分は本当に翻訳が難しいです。実際は韻を踏んでいるので、その気持ちよさは日本語になりませんでした。ごめんなさい。
それより、Waterfalls(滝)、River(川)、Lake(湖)のこの三つが非常に深い意味があると思うんです。アタシの個人的な解釈は↓
Waterfalls＝日々の出来事や揉め事、過ぎ去っていくけど激しい感情
River＝人生の流れ
Lake＝静かな愛
という訳で、「激しい感情に流されないで、前みたく人生や愛情を見直してみよう」って意訳をしているのです。うむ～～～何度聞いてもいい歌だ。100年もってほしいなぁ
